Here's a picture of me taken in January of 2007 near the Golden Gate Bridge.
I was born in San Francisco and, until mid-2001 when I moved to Florida, I always lived in the Bay Area. I moved back to the Bay Area in early 2008.
I have always worked in electronics except for a prolonged period when I was laid-off and when I moved to Florida where I worked a little in photography.
I spend my spare time taking naps, feeding my cat, doing astronomy, working with my computer (an Apple PowerMAC blue & white G3), listening to music, keeping my 1988 IROC-Z running, and taking pictures. So, here are a few notes about some of the pictures.
The background picture that you see is of the Golden Gate Bridge that I took in February 2000. I had just bought a digital camera. It was the President's Day Holiday so my brother and I made the short trip into San Francisco and played tourist.
The background picture on the Photography page was made by putting the camera on a flatbed scanner.
The background picture of the moon on the Astronomy page was taken through my telescope.
The picture on the Automobile page is a shot of my car. You can see the garage door opener reflected in the windshield.
The Disney World page picture is a photo of the monorail between the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary Resort.
The picture on the Links page is of a little wind-up robot I got for Christmas as a kid.
The picture on the Home page was taken out the window of a plane on one of my trips. It was a color photo but the tinting of the plane's window made it look odd so I converted it to B&W.
